Jordan Addison's Redraft Outlook Is Looking Better
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison is starting to look a little more interesting for redraft after a frustrating 2025. He caught 42 of 79 targets for 610 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games, all career lows. The biggest change is at quarterback. Minnesota named Kyler Murray the starter on August 11, and Addison was involved right away, catching back-to-back corner routes during Murray's first practice running exclusively with the first-team offense. He then caught an eight-yard first down from Murray in the preseason opener. Addison's thumb injury earlier in camp did not linger long, either. He was back heavily involved by August 11. There are still a lot of mouths to feed. Justin Jefferson is the clear No. 1, Jauan Jennings joined the room after scoring nine touchdowns last season, and T.J. Hockenson remains in the mix. That keeps Addison's ceiling from getting too carried away. Still, the quarterback job is settled, he's healthy, and the role hasn't gone anywhere. RotoBaller has Addison 84th overall in its latest PPR rankings. He's back in the WR3 conversation with some room to beat that if the offense clicks.

Jordan Addison Close to Full Participation Following Thumb Injury
Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said on Monday that wide receiver Jordan Addison (thumb) will be "close to full participation" in the team's night practice, according to Ben Goessling of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Addison has been dealing with a minor thumb injury in training camp that has kept him out of practices recently, but the 24-year-old should be a full-go sooner rather than later. The former 23rd overall pick in 2023 from USC struggled with injuries and consistency amidst the Vikings' issues at the quarterback position last year, ultimately finishing with career lows across the board in catches (42), targets (79), receiving yards (610), and touchdowns (three) in 14 games played. It's unclear who will win the QB competition in camp between veteran Kyler Murray and J.J. McCarthy, but it's notable that Addison spent extended time working with Murray in the offseason as he looks to bounce back in 2026. Addison will continue to operate in the shadow of All-Pro Justin Jefferson, but with Murray trending toward starting in Minnesota, Addison will have some intriguing value in fantasy drafts this year with a WR3/flex price tag.

Jordan Addison Held Out With Jammed Thumb
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison (thumb) will not participate in Wednesday's practice after jamming his thumb earlier this week, according to Ben Goessling. Head coach Kevin O'Connell said imaging came back clean, and Addison will remain on the field while the team gives the injury time to settle before he resumes catching passes. Minnesota is off Thursday, giving him another day to recover. Addison caught 42 passes for 610 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games last season. The clean imaging is encouraging, and there is no reason to adjust his fantasy outlook unless the thumb continues to limit him when the Vikings return to practice.

Jordan Addison Impresses in First Training Camp Practice
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was "everywhere" during the team's first training camp practice on Wednesday, according to Will Ragatz. This comes after a recent report that Addison and new quarterback Kyler Murray worked with each other for two months leading up to training camp. The 24-year-old former 23rd overall pick in 2023 out of USC is motivated going into the final year of his rookie contract in 2026 after a career-worst season that saw him catch 42 of his 79 targets for 610 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games after combining for 19 touchdown receptions in his first two seasons. Minnesota's lackluster quarterback play in 2025 didn't help matters. Addison will continue to be in the shadow of All-Pro wideout Justin Jefferson, but a bounce-back campaign could be in the cards if Murray seizes the QB1 gig and elevates the Vikings' passing attack from what it was a year ago. His case for being a WR3/4 sleeper in fantasy drafts this year is dependent on Murray winning the job in training camp and clicking with Addison in 2026. So far, so good.

Jordan Addison Offers Bounce-Back Value at WR42
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison is coming off the worst season of his career, but his current draft cost leaves room for a rebound. A three-game suspension shortened 2025, and Addison finished with 42 catches for 610 yards and three receiving touchdowns on 79 targets. He also dropped six passes, one more than he had across his first two seasons combined. That part cannot be blamed on Minnesota's quarterbacks, though the position remains unsettled between J.J. McCarthy and Kyler Murray. Before last season, Addison opened his career with 70 catches for 911 yards and 10 scores, then followed with 63 receptions for 875 yards and nine touchdowns. Jauan Jennings adds another target to an offense already led by Justin Jefferson, but Minnesota still exercised Addison's fifth-year option for 2027. RotoBaller lists him at WR42 in current redraft ADP. At that point, managers are not paying for another double-digit touchdown season. They are betting that a proven No. 2 receiver can recover from a messy year. Addison has enough past production to beat that cost, although the quarterback competition and deeper target tree keep him from being a safe weekly starter.

Jordan Addison Carries Redraft Sleeper Appeal into 2026
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison had a season to forget in 2025. After missing the first three games of the year due to a suspension, the 24-year-old finished the season with 42 catches for 610 yards and three touchdowns on 79 targets. Addison was a victim of the Vikings' brutal quarterback play in 2025, as the team received below-average production from signal-callers J.J. McCarthy, Carson Wentz, and Max Brosmer. Minnesota brought in veteran quarterback Kyler Murray over the offseason, who should at least provide the team's passing game with more stability in 2026. The Vikings also signed wide receiver Jauan Jennings in free agency, so Addison has some significant target competition between Jennings and superstar wideout Justin Jefferson. Still, Addison finished the 2024 season as the WR24 by measure of per-game PPR scoring. With his current ADP of WR42 in redraft leagues, Addison carries sleeper value into 2026.

Jordan Addison a Prime Dynasty Buy-Low Candidate Entering 2026
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison's 2025 season got off to an unfortunate start, as he missed the first three games due to a suspension. The 24-year-old then posted the least productive year of his career upon his return, hauling in 42 receptions for 610 yards and three touchdowns on 79 targets across 14 games. Despite the underwhelming 2025 campaign, there may be reason for fantasy managers to buy in on an Addison bounce-back. The Vikings had one of the worst quarterback situations in the NFL last season with the trio of J.J. McCarthy, Carson Wentz, and Max Brosmer. Minnesota signed veteran signal-caller Kyler Murray this past offseason, who should bring a significantly higher level of stability to the team's passing game in 2026. Addison has proven he can be an explosive player in a competent offense, averaging 13.4 yards per reception and scoring 19 touchdowns over the first two years of his career. In dynasty formats, Addison profiles as a clear buy-low target for managers.

Is Jordan Addison a Clear Buy-Low Candidate Ahead of 2026?
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison had an underwhelming 2025 season. In addition to missing the first three games of the year due to a suspension, he turned in the worst statistics of his career as he caught just 42 passes for 610 yards and three touchdowns across 14 games. It was the first time in Addison's three-year career that he ranked lower than WR23 in PPR leagues. The frustrating 2025 season has prompted some managers to explore trading Addison in dynasty leagues. While we're not overly optimistic about a quarterback room featuring J.J. McCarthy and Kyler Murray, we do expect to see more consistent, quality quarterback reps from McCarthy and Murray than what we saw from Carson Wentz and Max Brosmer last year. Video from voluntary workouts shows that Murray, the projected starter, has quickly built a rapport with Addison, so perhaps that's a reason for optimism. Jefferson is still the alpha receiver here, but the 2023 and 2024 seasons showed that Jefferson and Addison can co-exist on the fantasy radar. Addison ranks as the WR30 in RotoBaller's latest dynasty fantasy football rankings, and he has sneaky value as a potential buy-low candidate in trades ahead of the 2026 season.

Jordan Addison Facing Competition for No. 2 Role?
With the Minnesota Vikings agreeing to terms on a one-year deal with former 49ers receiver Jauan Jennings on Thursday, 2023 first-round pick Jordan Addison is now part of arguably the deepest receiver room of his young career. With veteran Adam Thielen heading to Carolina in the same year that Addison was drafted, the stiffest competition for targets behind two-time All-Pro Justin Jefferson has long been tight end T.J. Hockenson, with Minnesota running out K.J. Osborn and Jalen Nailor in the third receiver spot since 2023. With Nailor unable to top 29 receptions or 444 receiving yards in his time with the Vikings, Jennings represents a major upgrade, fresh off a 643-yard, nine-touchdown campaign, and only two years removed from career-highs of 77 receptions and 975 yards in 2024. Addison's receptions, yards, and touchdowns have all dropped year-over-year since entering the league, but with the team opting to pick up his fifth-year option in March, there is a clear belief that he can turn things back around. With improved quarterback play expected in 2026, Addison still has the home run ability to take over games, and he should enjoy enough spike weeks to make him a reliable fantasy asset despite the increased competition.

Can Jordan Addison Overcome Ugly Quarterback Situation?
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison has the talent to produce as a fringe top-24 fantasy receiver every week, but quarterback issues have plagued his fantasy value recently. After opening his career with back-to-back top-24 finishes in PPR leagues, Addison dropped to WR45 in 2025. Sure, he did miss three games due to a suspension, but his average of 9.7 fantasy points per game was still a career low. The USC product suffered from playing with a combination of J.J. McCarthy, Max Brosmer, and Carson Wentz. Those quarterbacks struggled to support fantasy relevance for Justin Jefferson, let alone both Jefferson and Addison. As a result, there's some concern about Addison's outlook in dynasty leagues. The Vikings have control of McCarthy for three more years, and they also signed Kyler Murray, who played so poorly in Arizona that the Cardinals released him from his $230.5 million extension. We never saw Murray support multiple fantasy-relevant receivers at once, and so far, McCarthy has struggled to do the same. As a result, managers should temper expectations for Addison. He's not an appealing dynasty trade target at the moment.

Vikings Picking Up Jordan Addison's Fifth-Year Option
The Minnesota Vikings will pick up the fifth-year option on wide receiver Jordan Addison, according to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team. The fifth-year option will pay Addison $18 million fully guaranteed for the 2027 season. The Vikings still believe in Addison despite posting a career-low 610 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 42 catches (79 targets) in 14 games in his third year in the league. The 24-year-old former 23rd overall pick in 2023 out of USC had career-low numbers across the board, but it wasn't all his fault. Quarterback J.J. McCarthy struggled with consistency and injuries in his first full year as the Vikings' starter under center, and he could just never get on the same page with either Addison or All-Pro wideout Justin Jefferson. This could be a great time to buy low on Addison in dynasty leagues, hoping that he can bounce back in 2026 and beyond with Kyler Murray potentially having the leg up to start for the Vikings at QB. Addison had 133 catches on 207 targets for 1,786 yards and 19 total touchdowns in his first two seasons in the NFL.

Jordan Addison in Line for 2026 Resurgence with Improved Quarterback Play in Minnesota?
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison posted career-low numbers across the board in 2025, finishing the year with 42 receptions for 610 yards and three touchdowns on 79 targets across 14 games. Some of Addison's struggles were self-inflicted, as he was suspended for the first three games of 2025 due to a violation of the league's substance abuse policy. However, Addison was also negatively impacted by the extremely inconsistent quarterback play Minnesota received from the combination of J.J. McCarthy, Carson Wentz, and Max Brosmer. While the Vikings still have question marks at the quarterback position, the team's offseason acquisition of former Arizona Cardinals signal-caller Kyler Murray should give it a more stable passing game floor. Addison recorded nearly 1,800 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns over his first two seasons in the NFL, so an improved offensive environment in Minnesota should give him a chance to return to previously demonstrated levels of production. Coming off a down year, Addison could be a solid buy-low target for fantasy managers in dynasty formats.

Jordan Addison's Dynasty Managers Hoping for a Quarterback Upgrade?
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison had an underwhelming 2025 season, largely due to inconsistent and subpar quarterback play. Addison played 14 games last year, amassing 42 catches, 610 yards, and three touchdowns, all of which were career-low marks. The former first-round pick will now head into his final guaranteed year under contract, with the Vikings set to make a key decision on his fifth-year option for 2027 in the near future. Looking even more short-term, Addison's fantasy outlook for 2026 is up in the air. He likely struggled last year due to the poor quarterback play of J.J. McCarthy, and he could be headed down a similar path if things don't change quickly. However, there is a chance the Vikings could make a quarterback upgrade this offseason, which would bode well for Addison's ability to produce as the No. 2 receiver behind Justin Jefferson. The 24-year-old was a top-24 fantasy receiver during his first two years in the league, so managers will hope he can return to that solid form in 2026. He's a decent buy-low candidate in dynasty leagues, but managers should still temper expectations in case it's another year of McCarthy throwing passes in Minnesota.

Jordan Addison Won't Face Charges
Charges will not be filed against Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison, according to his agent. Addison's agent told Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network that Addison will now prepare for the filing of a civil claim arising from the alleged wrongful arrest. The 23-year-old pass-catcher was facing a misdemeanor trespassing charge from his Jan. 12 arrest in Tampa. Addison, who had a speeding incident in 2023 and a DUI charge in 2024, most likely won't face any additional punishment from the league after charges were dropped. Still, his off-the-field incidents could play a factor in whether the Vikings decide to pick up his fifth-year option, which would guarantee him around $17.5 million for the 2027 season. The former 23rd overall pick in 2023 out of USC had his worst year in 2025, catching 42 passes for 610 yards and three touchdowns with quarterback J.J. McCarthy struggling with consistency and injuries. Addison's fantasy stock is down heading into his fourth NFL season.

Jordan Addison Arrested for Probable-Cause Trespassing
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison, who has a history of legal troubles since he entered the NFL, was arrested and booked into a Florida jail on Monday for probable-cause trespassing in an occupied structure, according to Joe Nelson of Sports Illustrated. Addison was released on Monday after posting a $500 cash bond. The 23-year-old pass-catcher was suspended for three games in 2025 for his 2024 DUI arrest in Los Angeles. In his third year in the NFL with the Vikings, Addison had his worst showing, catching 42 of 79 targets for a career-low 610 receiving yards and three touchdowns in 14 games played. Obviously, Addison's three-game suspension didn't help, but he was also more inconsistent every week with second-year quarterback J.J. McCarthy struggling with efficiency, turnovers, and injuries. It remains to be seen if he'll be facing another suspension to begin the 2026 season.

Jordan Addison's Big Play Clinches Vikings Win
A beleaguered Minnesota Vikings offense did very little for most of a Christmas Day showdown against the Detroit Lions, but wide receiver Jordan Addison provided a late-game spark with a 65-yard touchdown run that changed the game in a 23-10 victory. Missing three offensive line starters, their top two quarterbacks, and their starting tight end, the Vikings threw for a miserable 51 yards passing behind undrafted rookie quarterback Max Brosmer, which led to one target and no catches for the third-year receiver. The Minnesota defense played an outstanding game by forcing six turnovers, and the offense finally came to life late in the fourth quarter with an end-around to Addison that clinched the game. Routinely a risky fantasy option, Addison came through with one big play this week. He and the Vikings will finish the season by playing host to the Green Bay Packers in Week 18.

Slumping Jordan Addison Sees Week 17 Stock Drop
Already not in the best form of his career, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison will see another downgrade on Thursday when his team plays host to the Detroit Lions. The third-year receiver hasn't finished among the top 30 PPR receivers since Week 7 and is coming off a week in which he dropped a touchdown. Now, he'll see another change at quarterback with J.J. McCarthy (hand) ruled out for the game, leaving undrafted rookie Max Brosmer to start. The Vikings didn't score a point in Brosmer's lone start this season, a four-interception debacle last month at Seattle. The quarterback played well in helping Minnesota earn a victory last week against the Giants, and the passing game will see a plus matchup against a Detroit defense that has allowed the most air yards in the NFL. Addison, however, comes with a lot of risk as a low-end WR4 option, given the less-than-ideal circumstances.

Dropped TD Dampers Jordan Addison's Week 16
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison caught just two of three targets for 26 yards on Sunday in a 16-13 win at the New York Giants, and the lone missed connection was a costly one. Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy found the third-year receiver in single coverage in the end zone for what appeared to be a touchdown, but Addison lost control of the ball as he attempted to complete the catch, forcing a field goal attempt instead. Even worse for the Vikings, McCarthy (hand) departed the game shortly before halftime and did not return. Backup Carson Wentz (shoulder) is already out for the year, so Minnesota once again had to turn to undrafted rookie Max Brosmer, dimming the offense's outlook. If McCarthy misses a Christmas Day showdown with the Detroit Lions, trusting anyone on the Minnesota offense would be awfully difficult.

Risk And Reward On Deck For Jordan Addison At Giants
For managers still playing, the decision to start or sit Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison against the New York Giants is a riddle. This week, the former USC and Pitt standout qualifies as an ultimate high-risk, high-reward WR3/flex option. He has an outstanding matchup against a poor Giants pass defense that has allowed the fourth-most points to half-PPR receivers and fourth-most air yards, both great signs for a home-run hitter like Addison. Additionally, the Vikings' offense has been markedly better during the past two weeks, during which the offense scored 30-plus points, and Addison recorded more than 60 yards both times. But there is also the downside: Minnesota still ranks among the league's worst in turnover percentage, sacks allowed, and scoring percentage. In the six games preceding back-to-back wins, Addison averaged a paltry 27.5 receiving yards. Managers in the fantasy playoffs will have to evaluate the full picture of their roster to gauge whether the possibility of Addison having a big game is worth the risk of a dud.

Excellent Matchup Facing Jordan Addison At Cowboys
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison (Achilles) should be considered a high-risk, high-reward WR3/flex candidate with the Vikings set to travel to Dallas in Week 15. Minnesota's typically dangerous passing game has taken a significant step back in 2025 as second-year quarterback J.J. McCarthy has faced both injuries and periods of struggle, prompting the Vikings to simplify the offense and prioritize their running attack. McCarthy has favored Addison, however, as the receiver has 17 targets in the past two weeks. That offers breakout potential against a Dallas defense that ranks 30th in net yards per attempt allowed, 32nd in passing touchdowns allowed, and 32nd against fantasy wide receivers. Off the injury report and now facing a quality matchup, Addison has a pathway to a big week, albeit with risk, given the Vikings' offensive volatility this year.
