Christian Watson News
Monday, July 20, 7:40 AM
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson missed the first seven games of the 2025 season while recovering from offseason knee surgery. However, the 27-year-old was a productive player upon his return, recording 35 catches for 611 yards and six touchdowns on 55 targets across 10 games. Entering 2026, the Packers' offseason subtraction of wide receiver Romeo Doubs could mean that Watson is the team's clear WR1. Green Bay still has several talented pass-catchers in wide receivers Jayden Reed and Matthew Golden, as well as tight end Tucker Kraft (knee). The team has also typically operated a run-heavy offense and utilized Watson primarily as a downfield option, both of which have limited his target volume in the past. Still, Watson has flashed high-end upside throughout his career, and the team recently committed to him in the form of a four-year, $92 million contract extension. As the WR29 by current redraft ADP, Watson is a risky selection but also one that could pay major dividends for fantasy managers.

Xavier Worthy News
Monday, August 3, 9:22 AM
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy (shoulder) is expected to miss only a few days after suffering a shoulder sprain during Saturday's practice. Head coach Andy Reid provided the update Monday, according to Matt Derrick, after Worthy sat out the team's first padded session of camp. The 23-year-old is coming off a difficult second season, catching 42 passes for 532 yards and one touchdown in 14 games. Worthy dislocated his right shoulder in the 2025 opener and underwent surgery in January to repair a torn labrum, so another shoulder issue is worth monitoring even with the short timetable. There is no indication that the current sprain will threaten his availability for the regular season, and Kansas City has little reason to rush him back this early in camp. Worthy's fantasy outlook remains unchanged for now, though his participation will be worth checking once the Chiefs return to practice.
