Curtis Samuel News
Friday, March 6, 8:46 AM
The Buffalo Bills are releasing wide receiver Curtis Samuel on Friday, a source told Adam Schefter of ESPN. The move comes a day after Buffalo agreed to send two draft picks to the Chicago Bears in exchange for receiver DJ Moore. It's not like Samuel was a big contributor last year, though, as he played in only six regular-season games and caught seven of his nine targets for 81 yards and one touchdown. In his first year in Buffalo in 2024, the 29-year-old caught 31 of 46 targets for 253 yards and one touchdown in 14 regular-season games (two starts). The former second-round pick by the Carolina Panthers in 2017 out of Ohio State will look to latch on with another team this offseason as veteran receiver depth. Samuel most likely won't be on the fantasy radar in the majority of leagues in 2026, even if he lands in a favorable environment.

DK Metcalf News
Wednesday, April 22, 7:39 AM
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf had an underwhelming season in his first year with the team in 2025, finishing the year with 59 receptions for 850 yards and six touchdowns on 99 targets across 15 games. Despite profiling as the obvious number one pass-catcher in Pittsburgh, Metcalf set career lows in both targets and receiving yards. To fortify their receiving corps, the Steelers swung a big trade for former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. earlier this offseason. While Pittman Jr.'s presence could relieve some defensive pressure from Metcalf, it could also lead to Metcalf seeing yet another reduction in targets. Additionally, the Steelers quarterback situation currently remains in flux while the team waits for Aaron Rodgers to make a decision on whether or not he will play in 2026. Dynasty managers may not want to sell Metcalf at an apparent low point in his value, but there's a real possibility that his stock could sink even further as he enters his age-29 season.
