D'Andre Swift Finds The End Zone In Week 5 Win

Sunday, October 1, 8:30 PM

Philadelphia Eagles running back D'Andre Swift took 14 carries for 56 yards and a touchdown, adding four receptions on as many targets for 23 yards during the team's 34-31 overtime victory over the Washington Commanders. The 24-year-old returned to earth after averaging 6.9 yards per carry and gaining over 125 yards on the ground the past two weeks, but he found the end zone and gave fantasy managers another solid performance. Swift against out-touched teammate Kenneth Gainwell 18 to six, cementing his status as the clear top back in Philadelphia. Next week's matchup against the Los Angeles Rams is no walk in the park, but the former Detroit Lion will be a solid RB2 in Week 5.

Khalil Herbert Goes Off In Week 4

Sunday, October 1, 9:36 PM

Chicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert made easy work of the Denver Broncos defense in Week 4. Before the game, the expectation was that Roschon Johnson was going to see a majority of the carries. However, that wasn't the case during Sunday's contest. Herbert rushed 18 times for 103 yards, while hauling in four receptions for 19 yards and a touchdown in the loss. This was an odd outburst in usage for Herbert who saw only 14 carries combined during the past two games. It remains to be seen what kind of role he'll have in the Week 5 matchup against the Washington Commanders. Herbert will be a low-end flex option for that contest.
