Who Should I Start? Davante Adams or DJ Moore

The Los Angeles Daily News' Adam Grosbard reports that veteran wide receiver Davante Adams feels rejuvenated with the Los Angeles Rams and is already helping Puka Nacua and the team's other pass-catchers. Adams was traded from the Las Vegas Raiders to the New York Jets midseason last year to work with buddy Aaron Rodgers. While the 32-year-old six-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro saw plenty of volume, he wasn't exactly efficient and finished the year with 85 grabs on 141 targets for 1,063 yards and eight touchdowns in 14 starts. He's now working with veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford, which is good news, but the volume probably won't be there like it has been while he shares targets with Nacua, who figures to be Stafford's favorite target. Greg Braggs Jr. of CHGO Sports writes that he's still "trying to figure out how DJ Moore fits in this offense." It sounds like new head coach Ben Johnson is doing plenty of experimenting with Moore in training camp, as he's "giving him hand-offs in the backfield every day almost." In theory, Moore should be better in his third year in Chicago with Keenan Allen gone and with Johnson now the head coach, but it all depends on whether quarterback Caleb Williams can take the next step after a disappointing rookie season in 2024. Moore still managed a career-high 98 receptions for 966 yards and six touchdowns in 17 starts a year ago and will be a key member of the offense under Johnson, even if they have to manufacture his touches. The 28-year-old certainly has competition for targets from Rome Odunze, but he's still in play in fantasy as a WR2.
