Davante Adams Remains a Major Scoring Threat with Quarterback Returning

Monday, February 16, 5:35 PM

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Davante Adams capitalized on his high-scoring role within an omnipotent offense during the 2025 regular season. The Rams' offense steamrolled most opponents in their path, largely thanks to the elite talent of Adams, Puka Nacua, and quarterback Matthew Stafford. The veteran receiver benefitted from having Stafford to throw him passes, as the two connected for 14 touchdowns over Los Angeles' first 12 games. The frequent trips to the end zone allowed him to turn in his best fantasy finish (WR9) since 2022, despite posting his lowest yardage total since 2015 in Green Bay. Adams isn't getting younger, and we know that he's still the No. 2 option in the passing game behind Nacua. However, this past season proved that Adams remains a talented, must-start receiver in fantasy football. He's a solid top-12 receiver option heading into redraft leagues in 2026. On the other hand, dynasty managers might want to consider selling high, as he's 33 years old and the peak of his career is behind him.

Seahawks Bring Back Rashid Shaheed on Three-Year Deal

Monday, March 9, 2:32 PM

The Seattle Seahawks are re-signing wide receiver Rashid Shaheed to a three-year, $51 million deal on Monday that includes $34.7 million guaranteed, agents Drew Rosenhaus and Robert Bailey told ESPN's Adam Schefter. For fantasy purposes, it might have been better for Shaheed to go elsewhere, as he only caught 15 of 26 targets for 188 yards and no touchdowns in nine regular-season games for Seattle last year after they acquired him in a midseason trade from the New Orleans Saints. Shaheed was much more involved on offense in New Orleans, catching 44 of 66 targets for 499 yards and two touchdowns. He will return to the Super Bowl champions as a field stretcher to help get Jaxon Smith-Njigba open underneath. Shaheed is also an excellent kick returner on special teams, being named to his second Pro Bowl last year. Perhaps he'll have a bigger role on offense in his first full year with the team, but Cooper Kupp and Tory Horton are still in the WR room. Shaheed will be more of a boom/bust WR4/flex option for fantasy managers in 2026.
