Who Should I Start? Davante Adams or Rashid Shaheed

The Los Angeles Daily News' Adam Grosbard reports that veteran wide receiver Davante Adams feels rejuvenated with the Los Angeles Rams and is already helping Puka Nacua and the team's other pass-catchers. Adams was traded from the Las Vegas Raiders to the New York Jets midseason last year to work with buddy Aaron Rodgers. While the 32-year-old six-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro saw plenty of volume, he wasn't exactly efficient and finished the year with 85 grabs on 141 targets for 1,063 yards and eight touchdowns in 14 starts. He's now working with veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford, which is good news, but the volume probably won't be there like it has been while he shares targets with Nacua, who figures to be Stafford's favorite target. New Orleans Saints wide receiver Rashid Shaheed is impressing early in training camp. Team beat writer Nick Underhill wrote on Twitter on Friday that he is "up big time on Rashid Shaheed". Shaheed was showing signs of a breakout in 2024, hauling in 20 passes for 349 yards and three touchdowns in six games before a torn meniscus ended his season early. The speedy wideout reportedly added weight in the offseason and appears primed to pick up where he left off in 2025, making him an interesting late-round dart throw in fantasy drafts later this summer as the Saints are in need of a No. 2 receiver alongside Chris Olave.
