Davante Adams Sitting Out With Sore Hamstring, Expected to Play in Week 4

Wednesday, September 24, 6:49 PM

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that wide receiver Davante Adams (hamstring) will not practice on Wednesday after he came in "a little sore," per Sarah Barshop of ESPN. McVay added that he doesn't expect Adams' injury to affect his game status for Sunday's Week 4 contest against the 3-0 Indianapolis Colts. It's something worth watching this week, but as long as the 32-year-old veteran can practice on Thursday or Friday, he should be good to go on Sunday against the Colts. Adams has had at least eight targets in each of his first three games with the Rams in 2025 and comes into Week 4 with 13 catches on 29 targets for 213 yards and two touchdowns. He has scored in each of the last two games, and he should continue to be a target hog, alongside Puka Nacua, making him a must-start in weekly fantasy lineups.

Tetairoa McMillan Back at Practice

Thursday, September 25, 2:13 PM

Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan (calf) returned to practice on Thursday after sitting out Wednesday, a positive sign for his availability in Sunday's matchup with the New England Patriots. With Xavier Legette (hamstring) still sidelined, McMillan is positioned to handle a large share of the passing volume in Week 4. The 2024 second-round pick has been productive early, posting 216 yards through three games while emerging as Bryce Young's most reliable option. Although he's yet to find the end zone, that could change this week against a Patriots defense that has already surrendered five passing touchdowns. Fantasy managers should start McMillan as a WR2, especially in deeper leagues, as he brings both a solid target floor and intriguing upside in a game where Carolina could lean heavily on him.
