DeAndre Hopkins a Touchdown-or-Bust Option in Week 2

Saturday, September 13, 7:47 AM

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins proved why he's a three-time All-Pro with an amazing one-handed grab against the Buffalo Bills for a touchdown. While his days of 100+ targets per season are in the rearview mirror, he can still play that outlet role whenever called upon. The biggest issue for fantasy managers is that it's nearly impossible to predict which games he'll be more involved in compared to the others. In Week 2, he'll go up against the Cleveland Browns, who do have a better and more aggressive defensive unit. Hopkins might be viable in very deep leagues, but he likely won't receive more targets than Mark Andrews again, which would leave him around fourth in the target pecking order. So managers in 12-team leagues can safely leave him on the bench.

Isaiah Bond Hoping to Make an Impact in NFL Debut

Friday, September 5, 10:03 PM

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Isaiah Bond will make his NFL debut against the Cincinnati Bengals at home in Week 1. Bond, whom the Browns signed as an undrafted free agent in mid-August, will begin the year on the second team as he is still getting up to speed. The rookie out of Texas was a top prospect at this time a year ago, with some expecting him to be a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft. Off-field issues caused him to go undrafted, but he has a chance to overtake Jamari Thrash as Cleveland's No. 3 receiver this season. Bond doesn't need to be rostered in redraft leagues at the moment, but he is a must-stash in dynasty and is worth keeping tabs on throughout the year as he hopes to make a positive first impression against Cincy this weekend.
