New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr played mostly conservatively in the 20-17 win over Carolina on Monday night. Carr completed 21-of-36 passes for 228 yards, throwing an interception in the win. The Saints are 2-0 under Carr's regime as the franchise quarterback, and he appears to be developing a rapport with his new receiver trio. While it was not an encouraging fantasy performance, Carr will see more favorable matchups for fantasy in other weeks.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott played very well in a Week 2 win over the New York Jets. Prescott wasn't asked to do much in the Week 1 slaughter of the Giants, but he did a lot more against the Jets. He completed 31 of his 38 pass attempts for 255 yards and two touchdowns. He added six rushes for 14 yards total, and only took one sack for a seven yard loss. The Cowboys elite defense should consistently give the offense chances to score on short fields. Prescott should be a solid option again in Week 3 when the Cowboys take on the Cardinals in Arizona.
