DeVonta Smith Ruled Out Against Rams

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams, according to Brooks Kubena. Smith didn't practice this week after playing through the injury Monday night against Chicago, when he caught six passes for 65 yards. Philadelphia will now be without its most heavily targeted receiver. Smith has 27 targets, 19 receptions, 235 yards, and one touchdown through three games, leading the Eagles in each of the first three categories. Dontayvion Wicks and rookie Makai Lemon should both have more on their plates with Smith unavailable. Wicks has already been productive with 179 receiving yards through three games, while Lemon has seven catches on nine targets. Smith's Week 4 absence is official, with his availability beyond Sunday still something fantasy managers will need to monitor.

Garrett Wilson is Quiet in Week 4 Loss

New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson was unable to carry his momentum from Week 3 into this weekend's matchup against the Chicago Bears. Wilson was quiet with three receptions on four targets for 27 yards in the loss. It wasn't all his fault, as the Jets only possessed the ball for 17 minutes in this game. His four targets actually led the team, with quarterback Geno Smith only attempting 15 total passes. Fantasy managers should expect better days ahead for Wilson with a matchup against the Cleveland Browns in Week 5. Wilson should bounce back into WR1 territory for that one.
