Devontez Walker News

Devontez Walker Stands Out as Field-Stretcher This Offseason

Tuesday, June 23, 10:43 AM

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devontez Walker was a standout wideout this spring for the Ravens, continually stretching the field, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN. Walker, who was drafted in the fourth round in 2024 out of the University of North Carolina, has pressure on him this year after the Ravens drafted Ja'Kobi Lane in the third round and Elijah Sarratt in the fourth round in April. Walker is competing for the WR3 role behind Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman in 2026, and so far, he has made the most of his limited opportunities during his first two seasons in the league, scoring four touchdowns on his seven career catches. The 25-year-old pass-catcher only caught six of eight targets for 136 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games (three starts) for the Ravens last year. There is an opportunity for Walker in the Ravens' new offense in 2026, but he can be ignored in 12-team fantasy leagues to begin the year.

Skyler Bell News

Skyler Bell Working Through Lower Body Injury

Saturday, August 15, 5:10 PM

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Skyler Bell (lower body) is working through a lower body injury, head coach Joe Brady told Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic. It sounds like Bell's absence from Saturday's preseason opener was merely precautionary, as Brady noted that Bell likely would have played if it were a regular-season game. The fourth-round pick has intriguing upside after tallying 101 catches, 1,278 yards, and 13 touchdowns in his final season at UConn. Once he clears the injury hurdle, he has a chance to compete for meaningful playing time ahead of Keon Coleman and behind DJ Moore and Khalil Shakir. Neither Moore nor Shakir seems to be the long-term solution in Buffalo, and while Bell may not possess the skills to be an alpha receiver in the NFL, there's still No. 2 receiver potential with legitimate top-36 fantasy receiver upside. Bell is an intriguing dynasty target in system that will allow him to catch passes from star quarterback Josh Allen.
