DJ Moore Battling AC Joint Sprain, Week 3 Status in Question

Friday, September 18, 5:11 AM

Buffalo Bills wide receiver DJ Moore (shoulder) is "believed to have suffered an AC joint sprain" in his left shoulder, and his status for Week 3 is "up in the air," per Ian Rapoport and Adam Schefter of ESPN. heaMoore was forced to exit early from his team's Week 2 win over the Detroit Lions, which led to him finishing the game without a reception. The 29-year-old was heavily featured in Buffalo's season-opening win over the Houston Texans, recording five catches for 100 yards and a touchdown on eight targets. Moore has typically been an iron man in his career, playing in all 17 games in five consecutive seasons entering 2026. If he is unable to play in Week 3 against the Los Angeles Chargers, Bills wideout Keon Coleman would likely see a significant increase in playing time and target share.

Jake Ferguson News

Jake Ferguson Held Quiet In Week 1 Loss

Sunday, September 13, 8:29 PM

Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson was targeted just two times in his team's defeat against the New York Giants in their season opener. The entire offense was mostly quiet, though they did score three touchdowns. Ferguson finished the day with only six receiving yards, making him an irrelevant fantasy option. He didn't do much to help propel his team to victory. In more productive passing games from Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, Ferguson may be a more viable starter, but he's firmly behind both WRs CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, who have shown enough talent to easily be the top-2 target earners in Dallas. A matchup with the soft Washington Commanders secondary in Week 2 should afford Ferguson more room to get open and snag passes, but the Giants offense was supposed to be weak as well.
