DK Metcalf News
Thursday, August 27, 7:33 AM
The Pittsburgh Steelers restructured the contract of wide receiver DK Metcalf on Thursday, converting his base salary into a signing bonus to create nearly $18 million in salary cap space in 2026, according to Field Yates of ESPN. The restructure comes after the Steelers signed the veteran wideout to a four-year, $132 million deal in March of last year. In his first year in the Steel City, the former second-rounder by the Seattle Seahawks in 2019 from Mississippi caught 59 passes for 850 yards and six touchdowns in 15 regular-season games while working with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The Steelers gave Metcalf some help this offseason by trading for Michael Pittman Jr. and drafting Germie Bernard, but a true bounce-back to the 1,000-yard mark might not be in the cards in a new offense that could continue to run through the ground game. The two-time Pro Bowler recently returned from a nagging, undisclosed injury in training camp and should be fine for the regular-season opener against the Atlanta Falcons. Metcalf is best valued as a WR3/flex as one of Rodgers' best red-zone weapons in 2026.

Marvin Harrison Jr. News
Thursday, August 27, 11:57 AM
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is giving fantasy managers more reason to buy back in after an injury-marred 2025 season. Harrison caught 41 of 73 targets for 608 yards and four touchdowns in 12 games last year while dealing with a concussion, an appendectomy, a heel injury, and a separate foot issue that eventually landed him on injured reserve. This summer has been much cleaner. Harrison has stayed on the field throughout camp and made an impact in his first preseason action against Las Vegas, drawing a 20-yard pass-interference penalty from the slot before catching a seven-yard touchdown from Jacoby Brissett on the opening drive. Mike LaFleur has identified Harrison as Arizona's X receiver while also making it clear the offense can move him inside and outside through formations and motion. The target competition is still substantial. Trey McBride posted 126 catches for 1,239 yards and 11 touchdowns last season, while Michael Wilson went for 1,006 yards and seven scores. Harrison has plenty left to prove after two uneven NFL seasons, but his health, clearer role, and encouraging preseason work have his stock moving back up. RotoBaller currently ranks him WR32 in half-PPR.
