Chicago Bears running back D'Onta Foreman is once again a healthy scratch in Week 4 against the Denver Broncos, as is wide receiver Chase Claypool. This will be the third straight game that Foreman has been inactive, as he has fallen behind rookie Roschon Johnson on the team's running back depth chart. Travis Homer (ankle) was on the team's injury report this week with an ankle injury, but he was given the green light and will serve as the No. 3 on Sunday behind Khalil Herbert and Johnson. In the season opener, Foreman saw just five carries for 16 yards and caught two of his three targets for eight yards.

Chicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert made easy work of the Denver Broncos defense in Week 4. Before the game, the expectation was that Roschon Johnson was going to see a majority of the carries. However, that wasn't the case during Sunday's contest. Herbert rushed 18 times for 103 yards, while hauling in four receptions for 19 yards and a touchdown in the loss. This was an odd outburst in usage for Herbert who saw only 14 carries combined during the past two games. It remains to be seen what kind of role he'll have in the Week 5 matchup against the Washington Commanders. Herbert will be a low-end flex option for that contest.
