New York Giants right tackle Evan Neal (ankle) was placed on injured reserve and could require surgery, head coach Brian Daboll told the media. He's expected to spend part of the offseason rehabbing his injury. The 23-year-old played nearly every snap over the first six weeks of the season but has appeared in just one game since then. Tyre Phillips has taken over as New York's starting right tackle and should remain in that role for the final two weeks of the season.
