New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson recorded just two receptions for 26 yards in a 28-25 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 7. It's the second week in a row Wilson recorded under 50 receiving yards, with quarterback Geno Smith favoring wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. and tight end Mason Taylor in Sunday's home loss. Wilson's target share was expected to decrease since teammate Adonai Mitchell was returning to the lineup, but his season lows badly dent his status as a WR2 in fantasy leagues. Wilson could rebound in Week 8 against a struggling Las Vegas Raiders defense, but he is a bust for Week 7 after recording so little production.

Tetairoa McMillan News

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan posted four receptions (on six targets) for 40 yards (10.0 yards per catch) and did not find the end zone in a 43-13 blowout loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 7. He played 38 offensive snaps. The lopsided loss made it difficult for any Panther player to put up large numbers on Sunday, but it was McMillan's second-lowest output of the 2026 season (two receptions for 17 yards in Week 3). Still, McMillan led Carolina in targets and tied for the team lead in receptions with running back Chuba Hubbard. Quarterback Bryce Young only threw for 163 yards on the day, and 50 of those came on his lone touchdown pass to tight end Darren Waller. This game is likely an anomaly, as the Panthers found themselves down 33-6 at halftime. McMillan will remain heavily involved in Carolina's passing game and is still a must-start player. He will look to bounce back on Thursday Night Football against the Green Bay Packers in Week 8.
