Garrett Wilson Standing Out Even More

Friday, July 25, 11:16 PM

According to ESPN's Rich Cimini, New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson stood out even more in Friday's practice. "[The] passing attack is all Garrett Wilson," wrote Cimini. "No one else stepping up." The wideout, who recently agreed to a lucrative four-year, $130 million extension, surpassed the 1,000-yard receiving mark in each of his first three seasons. He's also coming off his best year, ending the 2024 campaign with 101 receptions and seven touchdowns. The latest update from Cimini shouldn't be a surprise. However, with more positive reports throughout training camp and heading into Week 1, Wilson could find himself climbing preseason fantasy rankings. With that in mind, the 25-year-old may have a legitimate chance of finishing in the top-10 in terms of fantasy production at the wide receiver spot, especially with the Jets lacking depth at the position.

Tetairoa McMillan Taking Part in Training Camp

Friday, July 25, 3:06 PM

Carolina Panthers rookie first-round wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan (leg) has been taking part in team drills during minicamp this week, per Joe Person of The Athletic. There's nothing to worry about with McMillan physically after he missed some time in minicamp with a leg injury. The Panthers drafted McMillan with the eighth overall pick in April's draft, so the 22-year-old from Arizona figures to have a pretty big role right away in his rookie campaign. Not many people expect a ton from the Panthers offense, but if quarterback Bryce Young builds on the end of his second year in the NFL, McMillan could be a nice little value pick as a WR3/flex in fantasy. There have been rumors of potential laziness from McMillan from his days in college, but he was extremely productive in college and has ideal size (6-foot-4, 219 pounds).
