Chip Kelly's creative offense appears to be unlocking the best in Smith, positioning him as a steady low-end QB1/high-end backup option moving forward. This week's matchup offers upside, as the Chargers surrendered the 11th-most passing yards in Week 1, giving Smith a prime opportunity to exploit an underwhelming secondary.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott completed 38 of 52 pass attempts for 361 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception during Sunday's Week 2 win over the New York Giants in overtime. He also took three sacks and rushed for 17 yards. The veteran signal caller certainly bounced back after a disappointing season opener, and it was intriguing to see him spread the ball around to a variety of pass catchers. CeeDee Lamb, Jake Ferguson, and George Pickens all had at least nine targets apiece while combining for 258 yards and one touchdown as a group. Prescott will be a fringe top-12 fantasy quarterback heading into next week's favorable matchup against the Chicago Bears, who just surrendered five passing touchdowns to Jared Goff.
