Gus Edwards Removed From The Injury Report

Friday, September 29, 5:38 PM

Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards (head) was removed from the injury report, suggesting he'll suit up for the AFC North battle with the Browns. The 28-year-old cleared concussion protocol and practiced fully during the week, so it didn't seem as if he was in any real danger of missing this one. Edwards has been Baltimore's most productive running back this season, totaling 145 yards and a touchdown off 29 carries. While Justice Hill (foot), who is questionable, or Melvin Gordon III should see some action versus Cleveland, Edwards is expected to remain the primary ball carrier. However, he's still a risky option for any fantasy setup in Week 4.

James Robinson News

James Robinson Works Out For Colts

Monday, September 4, 6:22 PM

Free-agent running back James Robinson worked out for the Indianapolis Colts on Monday, according to a source. Robinson is looking to latch on with yet another team before the start of the 2023 regular season this Thursday night. The former undrafted rookie has already been cut by the New England Patriots and New York Giants this offseason. The Colts could really use some running back depth with Jonathan Taylor (ankle) set to miss the first four games of the regular season and Zack Moss (arm) questionable to play in Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Even if Robinson signs with Indy, he'll be well off the fantasy radar behind the likes of Deon Jackson, rookie Evan Hull, Jake Funk and Jason Huntley.
