Harrison Butker Logs Five Points Against Jaguars

Monday, September 18, 3:15 AM

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker sunk his lone field-goal attempt and converted two extra-point tries in Sunday's 17-9 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 28-year-old nailed a 38-yarder to extend the Chiefs' lead to eight points late in the game. On a day both offenses unexpectedly stagnated, fantasy managers of Butker may have been left disappointed at the lack of production. Week 3's home contest versus Chicago could offer more kicking opportunities, since K.C. may not need to score touchdowns in bunches to top a dysfunctional-looking Bears offense.

Jason Sanders News

Jason Sanders Misses Two Field Goals Against Patriots

Monday, September 18, 9:30 AM

Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders has seen better games as he proved in Week 1. In Week 2, however, he missed two of his three field goal attempts but salvaged a few points by knocking through all three of his extra points. The good news is that Sanders made the closer field goal within 39 yards, but he had a 49-yarder that was blocked and a 55-yarder that missed wide left. The upside for Sanders is the fact that he continues to get a solid volume of opportunities since the Dolphins offense can move the ball more often than not. He should still be considered a mid-level option at kicker heading into Week 3.
