Los Angeles Chargers running back Isaiah Spiller ran well despite limited chances in Sunday's preseason game against the New Orleans Saints. Spiller ran the ball five times, picking up 27 yards on the ground including a long of 18 yards. He ended up second on the team in running back carries behind Elijah Dotson, but outgained him by six yards regardless. Spiller, Dotson, and Joshua Kelley are competing for a role in the Chargers backfield behind starter Austin Ekeler.

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier came out of the gate quick with a strong performance during the season opener. Since then, Allgeier has slowed down with only 60 yards on 23 carries over his last two games. That good news is, Allgeier appears to have a weekly role in this backfield. However, Bijan Robinson might continue to pull away as the lead back. That means, Allgeier might not have much fantasy value for long, assuming he doesn't pick up his performance. He won't be an ideal fantasy option for the Week 4 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Allgeier should be considered a RB4 for this game.
