Baltimore Ravens quarterback Jacoby Brissett has officially been acquired from the Arizona Cardinals, with Ian Rapoport reporting Friday that Baltimore received Brissett and a 2027 fifth-round pick in exchange for a 2027 fourth-round selection and a 2028 seventh-rounder. The Ravens needed an experienced quarterback after Lamar Jackson (thumb) and Tyler Huntley (toe) were placed on injured reserve. Undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano struggled in Thursday's 33-10 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, completing 10 of 18 passes for 60 yards and two interceptions. Brissett started Arizona's first eight games this season, throwing for 1,719 yards, 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions before losing his starting job to Gardner Minshew II. The 33-year-old is expected to start against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 10 on Monday, November 16, although Baltimore has not formally confirmed that decision. His arrival gives the Ravens a more experienced passing option and puts Brissett back in the QB2 streaming conversation for Superflex and two-quarterback leagues.

Atlanta quarterback Michael Penix Jr. remains a deep-league fantasy starting option for the team's Week 9 test against the Bengals. He struggled in Week 8 against Tampa Bay, completing just 8-of-24 passes for 125 yards. Penix didn't throw a touchdown and was picked off four times. He had 11 rushing yards on five attempts. There were wet and sloppy conditions in that contest, which certainly impacted the passing game and Penix's play. The QB had thrown seven touchdowns to no interceptions in the previous three games combined, so he'll be looking to bounce back this week. Cincinnati is a pretty average matchup for Penix, which keeps him as a deep-league streaming option, even after last week's disastrous showing.
