Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson took on a high-volume role in his team's offense in 2026, finishing the year with 82 catches for 600 yards and eight touchdowns on 102 targets across 17 games. However, a significant chunk of Ferguson's production came in the four games where star Cowboys wideout CeeDee Lamb was either sidelined or forced to exit early due to injury. Across the 13 games where Ferguson shared the field with Lamb, he averaged 5.3 targets and four receptions per game. The 27-year-old needs a high volume of targets to be productive for fantasy managers, as he's averaged under six yards per target in each of the last two seasons. Ferguson's 2026 spike in red zone production may not be sustainable either, as he failed to record a single touchdown grab across 14 games in 2024. With the Cowboys' star wide receiver duo of Lamb and George Pickens likely to demand a significant chunk of the team's targets in 2026, dynasty managers may want to explore selling high on Ferguson.

New York Jets rookie tight end Kenyon Sadiq (hernia) is currently recovering from hernia surgery, but he's expected to be ready for training camp and should be a full-go for the start of 2026. The 21-year-old was selected 16th overall in the 2026 NFL Draft by the Jets after recording 51 catches for 560 yards and eight touchdowns across 14 games with the University of Oregon in 2025. Sadiq posted elite testing metrics relative to his position at the combine and profiles as a high-upside pass-catcher at the NFL level. The Jets have another talented young tight end in Mason Taylor, which could limit Sadiq's playing time early on. Still, Sadiq's athleticism should allow him to share the field with Taylor in certain personnel groupings. The Jets are also desperate for receiving talent behind wide receiver Garrett Wilson, so Sadiq should have every opportunity to make his mark. He profiles as a potential dynasty breakout candidate entering 2026.
