Jake Ferguson News
Wednesday, August 19, 6:53 PM
Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson could see fewer targets this season with other playmakers around him. Ferguson had a career season in 2025, hauling in 82 of 102 targets for 600 yards and eight touchdowns, though star wideout CeeDee Lamb missed time with a hamstring injury. In the four games Lamb missed, Ferguson averaged 7.5 receptions for 51 yards and four touchdowns. In the other 13 games, Ferguson averaged only 6.7 half-PPR fantasy points per game, which would have ranked him outside the top 20 tight ends last season. Now, young receiver Ryan Flournoy is emerging as the clear third receiver in this offense, which could take more targets away from the Cowboys' starting tight end. Fantasy managers should look to other options at tight end rather than pay a high price for Ferguson, who made his mark after injuries to the team's top receivers.

Tetairoa McMillan News
Friday, August 21, 5:36 AM
The Carolina Panthers recently participated in a joint practice with the Jaguars ahead of Friday night's preseason matchup. While the session got off to a slow start for the Panthers' offense, things quickly settled into place once quarterback Bryce Young started looking in the direction of wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan. "Bryce just started finding TMac in different ways," head coach Dave Canales told reporters after practice. "Explosive passes, touchdowns, things that went into the end zone. It was fantastic to see." Young connected with the 2025 Offensive Rookie of the Year on a number of plays throughout practice, including a leaping catch in the corner of the end zone that beat double coverage. Afterward, Young spoke about McMillan's importance to the team. "It makes my job so much easier, having a guy like him out there that you can trust one-on-one," he shared. "Obviously he's a huge part of what we do." Following a WR15 finish as a rookie, McMillan is being drafted as the WR17 but has a chance to crack the top 12 as a focal point of the Panthers' offense.
