Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jakeem Grant Sr. (knee) landed on the injured reserve list on Sunday and will miss the 2023-24 campaign. The 30-year-old, who also missed all last season with an Achilles injury, suffered a ruptured patellar tendon during the preseason finale against the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday. Although he wasn't expected to be a viable fantasy option as a wideout, his effectiveness as a return man isn't good for the Browns special teams unit this season.

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver DeAndre Carter (knee) is expected to debut with his new squad on Sunday against the Broncos. The journeyman wideout, who signed with Vegas in March, has recently been burdened by a knee issue. But it appears he's good to go for Week 1. Carter is coming off his most productive year, catching 46 passes for 538 yards and three touchdowns in 17 games with the Chargers. However, he won't have Justin Herbert slinging him the ball, so he's hard to take seriously from a fantasy standpoint, even more so with Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers, and Hunter Renfrow in the picture.
