Jalen Nailor News

Jalen Nailor Was a Priority Free Agent for the Raiders and Could Be WR1

Tuesday, June 16, 5:13 AM

While building an offense around the number one overall pick that would eventually become quarterback Fernando Mendoza, the Las Vegas Raiders signed former Vikings wide receiver Jalen Nailor to a three-year, $35 million deal, and according to Raider Nation Radio host Q Myers, Nailor was precisely the player the team was targeting in free agency. In a disastrous 2025 season that saw primary receiver Jakobi Meyers dealt to the Jaguars and All-Pro tight end Brock Bowers miss five games and face limitations in several others, no Raiders player reached 700 receiving yards. Outside of Bowers and running back Ashton Jeanty, Nailor's most significant competition is likely to come from the 5'9", 185-pound Tre Tucker, who led the team with 90 targets while playing 17 games in 2025. While acknowledging the vast talent disparity, some around the organization believe Nailor will be asked to do many of the things Jaxon Smith-Njigba did during new head coach Klint Kubiak's time in Seattle. With a clear path to becoming the number one receiver in what could soon become a significantly improved offense, Nailor is potentially being slept on as RotoBaller's dynasty WR86 and could become one of the better values in the later rounds of 2026 dynasty startups.

Parker Washington News

Parker Washington Set to be Core Piece of Jaguars Passing Game

Friday, June 12, 4:22 PM

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington broke out in 2025 in his third year in the league with 58 receptions on 95 targets for 847 yards and five touchdowns in 16 regular-season games (seven starts). He played a backup role in the offense during the first two months of the year before being thrust into a starting role after rookie Travis Hunter's (knee) season-ending injury. According to Sports Illustrated's John Shipley, "all signs from three-day mandatory minicamp are that the Jaguars are set to trust him even more in 2026." The 24-year-old former sixth-rounder in 2023 out of Penn State combined for 48 catches, 522 yards, and five TDs in his first two years in the NFL. Even though Hunter will continue to be used on offense, and Jakobi Meyers and Brian Thomas Jr. are still involved, it is clear that Washington is "set to be a core piece" in the passing game. According to Next Gen Stats, Washington had a team-high 23.7% of the Jaguars' third-down targets last year and averaged 3.1 yards per route run on third down, the most among WRs with at least 75 routes run on third down. With a full season as a starter in 2026, Washington should be able to improve on his numbers from a year ago and potentially have a shot to be a 1,000-yard receiver.
