Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers is in a great position to succeed against an average-at-best Washington Commanders defense in Week 9. The Seahawks' offense should have no issues moving the ball up and down the field against this team. Myers is the K8, even with a bye week to his name. He has only scored fewer than 8 fantasy points on one occasion this year. That only happened because the Seahawks almost exclusively scored touchdowns against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 5. As such, Myers has about as safe a floor as any kicker in the league. He is still readily available on waivers, especially since he is coming out of his bye. If you need a kicker in Week 9, and even beyond, do not hesitate to set and forget Myers.

Cincinnati Bengals kicker Evan McPherson has struggled to find fantasy relevance to start the 2025 season. Through six games, McPherson has converted six of eight field goal attempts and 11 extra points, averaging just 5.5 fantasy points per game, which ranks 36th among all kickers. The injury to quarterback Joe Burrow has limited scoring opportunities across the Bengals' offense, directly impacting McPherson's production. Even with a Thursday Night Football matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have been shaky defensively, McPherson remains a risky fantasy option due to his limited opportunities in the struggling Cincinnati offense. Fantasy managers should look elsewhere for a more reliable kicker in Week 7.
