Jaylen Waddle Finds the End Zone on Thursday

Friday, September 19, 10:07 AM

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle recorded five catches for 39 yards and a touchdown on six targets against the Buffalo Bills on Thursday night. Waddle has now scored touchdowns in back-to-back weeks, although he's failed to crack 70 receiving yards in any of Miami's games so far. On the season, Waddle has been targeted 17 times, hauling in 14 catches for 137 yards and two touchdowns. He ranks third on the Dolphins in targets behind wide receiver Tyreek Hill and running back De'Von Achane (23 each). Waddle profiles as a low-end flex option going into next week's matchup against the New York Jets.

Xavier Worthy News

Xavier Worthy Ruled Out for Week 3

Saturday, September 20, 11:52 AM

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy (shoulder) has officially been ruled out for Week 3's matchup against the New York Giants. Worthy practiced in a limited fashion during the week, but the team isn't ready to put him back on the field after his Week 1 dislocated shoulder against the Los Angeles Chargers. In his absence, Marquise Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Tyquan Thornton each carry standalone fantasy value, while Patrick Mahomes' ceiling takes a noticeable hit without his premier deep threat. The next opportunity for Worthy's return will be Week 4 against the Baltimore Ravens.
