Jaylen Waddle Stepping Up as WR1

Friday, October 10, 8:47 PM

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle will have an opportunity to step up as the team's top receiver the rest of the season after Tyreek Hill (knee) was lost for the season in Week 4. In Week 5, Waddle delivered a big game, hauling in six of his nine targets for 110 yards and a touchdown against the Panthers. He set season highs in catches, targets, and yards, while scoring his third touchdown in the last four weeks. Waddle and the Dolphins will look to bounce back from last week's loss to Carolina, as they host the Chargers. The Chargers' defense has done a good job against receivers this season, but Deebo Samuel did light them up for eight catches, 96 yards, and a touchdown last week. Waddle should be primed for another high-volume game and is the WR17 in RotoBaller's Week 6 rankings.

Zay Flowers Questionable to Play in Week 6 Against Rams

Friday, October 10, 5:26 PM

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers (shoulder) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the visiting Los Angeles Rams in Week 6, according to Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun. While it's possible that Flowers could end up suiting up this weekend against the Rams, the 25-year-old's weekly fantasy appeal has already taken a hit now that we know quarterback Lamar Jackson (hamstring) will miss a second straight game. With backup QB Cooper Rush running the offense again on Sunday, Flowers and the rest of Baltimore's offensive skill players will not be as reliable in starting fantasy lineups. Flowers had a decent game in last week's loss to the Houston Texans, catching all five of his targets for 72 yards. However, his fantasy ceiling and floor will be lowered in Week 6 if he's active. If the Ravens give Flowers a rest before their bye next week, DeAndre Hopkins and Rashod Bateman would be the team's top two pass-catchers.
