Jerry Jeudy News

Jerry Jeudy No Longer the No. 1 Option in Cleveland

Wednesday, August 5, 5:41 AM

The Cleveland Browns spent two top 40 picks on the wide receiver position in the 2026 NFL Draft, and with both rookies standing out in their first training camp, The Athletic's Zac Jackson believes veteran Jerry Jeudy's time as the de facto number one receiver could be drawing to a close. Jackson specifically points to the emergence of second-rounder Denzel Boston as an inciting factor in a potential depth chart shakeup. The Browns spent a first-round pick on KC Concepcion, who has worked primarily out of the slot through the early stages of training camp but has the versatility to share the field with Boston in two-receiver sets. Jeudy led the team with 105 targets in 2025, but connecting on fewer than half of those looks, he ended the year with only 602 yards and two scores on his way to a WR53 finish. With little change at the quarterback position but increased competition in his own room, Jeudy is not a player who needs to be targeted in 2026, falling to WR66 in RotoBaller's latest rankings.

Khalil Shakir News

Khalil Shakir a Dynasty Sell-High Candidate Ahead of 2026

Thursday, July 23, 9:37 AM

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir has been a steady security blanket in his team's passing game in recent years, recording back-to-back seasons with at least 95 targets, 70 catches, 700 receiving yards, and four touchdowns. The 26-year-old was Buffalo's leading target-earner in 2025 and finished the year as the WR43 by measure of per-game PPR scoring. However, Shakir's place in the Bills' offense may be altered in 2026. Buffalo traded for wide receiver DJ Moore, who now profiles as the team's clear WR1. The Bills also used a fourth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft on wideout Skyler Bell, who was an All-American in his final season in college and could push Shakir for playing time in the slot. Given his likely workload reduction and his lack of high-end upside, Shakir profiles as a potential dynasty sell-high candidate entering 2026.
