Atlanta Falcons tight end J.J. Arcega-Whiteside was released by the team on Tuesday as they cut their roster down to 53 players. Infamously drafted before D.K. Metcalf, Diontae Johnson, and Terry McLaurin in the 2019 NFL Draft, Arcega-Whiteside was a highly productive receiver at Stanford but never found solid footing at that position in the pros. He's since transitioned to tight end but wasn't able to make the Falcons' final 53. There's a good chance another team will take a chance on him but his days in the NFL appear to be numbered.

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Jalen Guyton is not a good fantasy option in a Week 17 game against the Denver Broncos despite several injuries ahead of him on the depth chart. Keenan Allen (heel) and Joshua Palmer (concussion) are both questionable at best. In theory, that leaves Guyton as one of the top two wide receivers on the depth chart alongside rookie Quentin Johnston, but Guyton has made just six catches in his past five games, and the Chargers offense is among the worst in the league right now.
Still trying to decide between Arcega-Whiteside and Guyton? Check on the latest news to make sure both players are active and healthy. Our PPR projections show that JJ Arcega-Whiteside is projected to score 0.0 points this week while Jalen Guyton is projected to score 0.0 points.
