Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor was the lone bright spot in the Colts' 23-19 loss to the Houston Texans on Saturday night. Taylor ran the ball 30 times for a whopping 188 yards on the ground and a touchdown. He reeled in both of his targets for an additional eight yards through the air. Taylor (heel) left the game in the second half briefly with an injury but did return just a few drives later. The 24-year-old closes out the regular season with 894 yards from scrimmage and eight total touchdowns in ten games played. Indy is now eliminated from playoff contention with their Week 18 loss.

Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard carried the ball 23 times for 83 yards and added two catches for nine yards in a 9-0 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 18. Hubbard easily led the team in rushing in the regular-season finale as Miles Sanders saw just three touches in the loss. Hubbard ultimately turned in a successful season as he wrestled the starting role away from Sanders mid-season and never looked back. His role heading into next season remains up in the air, however, as the Panthers are likely to have a new head coach and general manager in place.
