No Practice For Jonathan Taylor Wednesday

Wednesday, December 6, 7:58 PM

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor (thumb) is still missing from practice on Wednesday. Taylor had thumb surgery on Nov. 29 and missed his first game in Week 13's overtime win over the Tennessee Titans. He's highly unlikely practice or play in Week 14 against the Bengals in Cincinnati this Sunday. The 24-year-old was given a three- to five-week timetable to return from his thumb injury. Fantasy managers should keep Taylor stashed, but he still might not be able to return in time to help you potentially make a run at that coveted fantasy title in 2023. In the meantime, Zack Moss will have RB2 upside in fantasy lineups as Indianapolis' lead back. Moss will have upside this week against a suspect Bengals run defense.

Tyler Allgeier News

Tyler Allgeier Gets Eight Carries

Sunday, December 3, 7:48 PM

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has taken a backseat in this offense over the last few weeks. It appears the Falcons are putting more faith in Bijan Robinson, which isn't a good sign for Allgeier's fantasy value. On Sunday, Allgeier rushed eight times for 26 yards in the win over the New York Jets. The Falcons weren't able to get anything going on offense during this game. Fantasy managers shouldn't count on a bounce back effort from Allgeier next week. He'll get a tough matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers solid run defense. Fantasy managers shouldn't consider Allgeier anything more than a touchdown-dependent option.
