Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Jonnu Smith has just five receptions over his past five games but will look to get more involved against his former team, the Miami Dolphins, in Week 15. This is an enticing matchup for Smith, as Miami has surrendered the third-most fantasy points per contest to opposing tight ends this season. While Smith's biggest concern remains his inconsistent utilization, he could draw additional looks on Monday night if fellow tight end Darnell Washington (concussion) is ruled out. The potential for cold temperatures and strong winds also works in Smith's favor, as he primarily operates near the line of scrimmage and generates yards after the catch. He's far from a reliable fantasy starter, but the 30-year-old could surprise in this revenge game and has some appeal as a streaming option in deeper leagues.

Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid (knee) was listed as a non-participant in Wednesday's practice session, according to the team. Kincaid played in each of the past two games after dealing with knee and hamstring injuries in prior weeks, but he will begin this week with a DNP. The Bills could be managing his workload during the practice week to ensure he is ready to go on gameday. Fantasy managers will want to monitor his status in practice on Thursday and Friday in case he suffered a setback that would cause him to miss some time. Injuries seem to be a lingering issue for the 26-year-old tight end, as he played only 36% of the snaps in the Week 15 win against the New England Patriots, catching three of four targets for 34 yards. If Kincaid is unable to play on Sunday versus the Cleveland Browns, Dawson Knox would be in line for an expanded receiving role and could continue his recent stretch of production.
