Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison caught three of his four targets for 26 yards and a touchdown during Thursday's Week 8 loss against the Los Angeles Chargers. Addison's trip to the end zone came on a four-yard reception with fewer than five minutes remaining in the third quarter. The touchdown salvaged his fantasy performance and brought him to four consecutive games with double-digit fantasy points (PPR). He's averaging 16.0 fantasy points per game since his season debut in Week 4, which is tied for the 17th-highest average among all NFL receivers during that span. He's a solid low-end WR2 heading into Week 9 against the Detroit Lions.

New England Patriots wide receiver DeMario Douglas remains an unappealing fantasy option heading into Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns. Outside of a strong Week 6 against the Saints, Douglas has massively underwhelmed this season, catching just 13 passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns. He has routinely been out-snapped by Kayshon Boutte, Stefon Diggs, and Mack Hollins, making it difficult for him to carve out any sort of fantasy relevance. The 24-year-old is especially concerning this week as he takes on the Cleveland Browns, who have allowed the 15th-fewest fantasy points to slot receivers in 2025. Douglas can be left on waivers in most formats.
