Minnesota Vikings running back Jordan Mason is set to be the lead back for the Week 18 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. Mason is set for an increased workload with the Vikings ruling out Aaron Jones Sr. (hip) for the regular-season finale. When Jones missed time early in the season, Mason rushed for over 50 yards in each of those games with three total touchdowns. The Packers are unlikely to play their starters on defense, as their postseason seeding is already determined. Mason is primed for a strong performance, so fantasy managers should strongly consider him for DFS contests or in leagues still playing for a fantasy championship. He offers borderline RB1 value without Jones in the mix and comes in as RotoBaller's RB10 in the latest rankings for Week 18.

New York Jets running back Breece Hall (knee) has been ruled out of Sunday's Week 18 matchup with the Bills, effectively ending his season and potentially his time with the Jets. Hall is now scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent and will likely draw a top-of-market deal as the headliner of the running back free agent class. Still only 24 years old, Hall's best football could still be ahead of him, making him an intriguing name in dynasty and a player whose value could skyrocket depending on landing spot. He finishes the 2025 campaign with a career-high 1,065 yards on the ground, along with 350 receiving yards and five total touchdowns.
Still trying to decide between Mason and Hall? Check on the latest news to make sure both players are active and healthy. Our PPR projections show that Jordan Mason is projected to score 14.2 points this week while Breece Hall is projected to score 0.0 points.
