Jordan Mason News
Saturday, September 5, 6:22 AM
Minnesota Vikings running back Jordan Mason has had a great training camp, so much so that he was reportedly listed as a co-starter with Aaron Jones at running back on the team's first unofficial depth chart according to Rob Kleifield of the Vikings official site. Mason had a productive season for the Vikings in 2025 with 159 carries for 758 yards and six touchdowns. He averaged 4.8 yards per carry and also caught 14 passes 51 yards. Mason played in 16 games last season, carving out a nice role even with Aaron Jones on the team. At 5-foot-11 and 230 pounds, Mason is a big-time presence in the backfield and looks like a nice between-the-tackles runner while Jones could feature more on the passing downs. While he will likely continue split carries, Mason still could be a good late round draft pick.

Trey Benson News
Tuesday, August 25, 5:09 PM
After the Arizona Cardinals waived running back Trey Benson with an injury designation, Benson was placed on injured reserve, ending his 2026 season. All 31 other teams passed on Benson on the waiver wire, so the running back will spend the 2026 season on injured reserve. The former third-round pick has totaled 111 attempts for 574 yards and one touchdown in 17 career games with Arizona. Benson underwent meniscus surgery during the 2025 season but was unable to return to play despite being activated off injured reserve. The third-year running back could've affected another running back room across the league, but with him out for the season, fantasy managers can safely drop Benson if they had him on their rosters.
