Josh Jacobs Off Injury Report, Good to Go For Week 17

Thursday, December 25, 9:06 PM

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (knee) is off the injury report and is good to go on Saturday night against the Baltimore Ravens. Jacobs was limited all three days of practice this week with a nagging knee injury he suffered in Week 11 against the New York Giants. He played just 40% of snaps in last week's stunning loss to the Chicago Bears, while Emmanuel Wilson played 47%. Jacobs faces a Baltimore Ravens defense that has allowed the 12th-most fantasy points to running backs this season. With the Packers firmly clinched in the postseason, there's a possibility Jacobs could be limited again in Week 17. However, fantasy managers can still trust him in starting lineups for fantasy championships this week.

Brenton Strange News

Brenton Strange a Low-End TE1 Against Colts

Saturday, December 27, 12:20 PM

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange has been inconsistent, but he has a chance to be serviceable against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 17. Strange hasn't been the most targeted, but since returning from injury in Week 12, he has had decent involvement in the Jaguars thriving offense. He did manage 93 yards in Week 12 and a touchdown each in Weeks 13 and 16, but his overall season numbers don't stand out in any way. However, in a plus matchup and a week with plenty of injured tight ends, Strange is certainly startable. Fantasy managers can do better, but can also do much worse than Strange, who might be an injury replacement for injured studs Brock Bowers (knee) and George Kittle (ankle) for numerous fantasy managers in their Week 17 fantasy championships.
