Ke'Shawn Williams News

Ke'Shawn Williams Leads Pittsburgh In Receiving

Sunday, August 10, 1:40 PM

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Ke'Shawn Williams secured both of his targets for 55 yards and a touchdown in a 31-25 preseason win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The undrafted rookie made a statement on Saturday night as a go-to downfield weapon for quarterback Skylar Thompson. He managed to come down with a heavily contested 26-yard deep ball in the endzone that gave the Steelers a two-possession lead in the fourth quarter. Williams is far from a guarantee to make the 53-man roster, but there aren't many proven options ahead of him in Pittsburgh's wide receiver corps. He'll look to further establish himself throughout the preseason, with his next opportunity coming against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Chris Bell News

Chris Bell Activated from NFI List

Monday, August 17, 5:39 AM

The Miami Dolphins have activated rookie wide receiver Chris Bell (knee) from the non-football injury list, and the first-year player could soon begin practicing with the team. Once viewed as a first-round talent, Bell tore his ACL in December and fell to the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft. His rare combination of size and speed allowed him to dominate in his final collegiate season at Louisville, racking up over 900 yards on 72 receptions, and while he will now be playing catch-up to begin his NFL career, he could find a mid-season role in a wide-open Dolphins receiver room. Fellow rookie and third-round pick Caleb Douglas has been a training camp standout, and Malik Washington led the team with three catches in Friday's preseason opener, but with the third receiver spot currently being held by Jalen Tolbert, there is a path for Bell to crack the starting lineup by season's end, making him a player to at least remember in the closing rounds of deep drafts.
