Keenan Allen Catches Five Passes In Week 13 Win

Sunday, December 3, 7:23 PM

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen made five catches in a Week 13 win over the New England Patriots. In a 6-0 game with no touchdowns scored, Allen led the team in catches, targets, and yards. He made his five catches on nine targets and gained 58 yards. The veteran wide receiver was limited all week with a quadriceps injury, but seemed mostly healthy in this tough game. He may be limited in practices this week, but should be good to go next week against the Denver Broncos.

Kadarius Toney News

Kadarius Toney Not A Fantasy Option Sunday

Saturday, December 2, 12:13 AM

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney (ankle/hip) fully practiced all week and has been cleared from Week 13's injury report. Toney sat out Week 12's 31-17 victory over the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders due to ankle and hip injuries, but he'll be back out there in Week 13 against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football, presumably in his typical gadget role. Toney's role as a pseudo "wide back" has not yielded any semblance of the returns fantasy managers may have envisioned during this past summer. Toney has totaled 22 catches (30 targets) for 139 yards and one touchdown, which checks out to an anemic 6.3 yards per catch and 4.6 yards per target. The enigmatic 24-year-old talent has taken eight carries for nine yards, as well. Toney has simply been unable to bounce back from his three-drop Week 1 disaster to this point, and there's little reason to believe that the debacle will finally galvanize him into a usable WR5/6 finish on SNF.
