Jacksonville Jaguars running back LeQuint Allen Jr. saw a season-high eight carries during last week's win over the Los Angeles Chargers. The rookie back normally doesn't see much of the field, but got a chance last week. He made the most of it as he rushed for 36 yards on his eight attempts, which is 4.5 yards per carry. It was a decent showing from the rookie back who will now return to his role as the third string back. Both Travis Etienne Jr. and Bhayshul Tuten have been cleared to play ahead of the Week 12 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. Unless an injury happens, Allen is going to have a minimal role as the third string back.

Atlanta Falcons backup running back Nathan Carter led the team's backfield in Friday's 23-20 preseason loss to the Titans, rushing nine times for 63 yards, which included a 43-yard touchdown scamper straight up through the middle of the Tennessee defense in the third quarter. The rookie out of Michigan State got the most run of all the Falcon running backs, adding two catches for nine yards to his stat line, while Jashaun Corbin touched the ball six times and Elijah Dotson received three carries and one reception. Carter's run featured some good vision and breakaway speed, a couple of traits that should go a long way in helping to secure a roster spot as the regular season nears.
