Logan Thomas Not Practicing Wednesday

Thursday, September 21, 12:58 AM

Washington Commanders tight end Logan Thomas (concussion) did not practice to start the week. It was expected that Thomas would sit out Wednesday's practice after suffering a concussion in the team's 35-33 victory over the Denver Broncos in Week 2. The veteran tight end left the contest in the second quarter following a hit to the head by Broncos safety Kareem Jackson on his touchdown grab. Thomas will need to clear the concussion protocol before returning to the field. He'll have two more chances to practice before Sunday's Week 3 game against the Buffalo Bills.

Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz finished with four catches for 34 yards in the team's 31-20 loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2. Despite rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud throwing for 384 yards, Schultz wasn't utilized much in the passing game. His four catches, 34 yards, and seven targets ranked fourth among all Houston playmakers. The tight end has just 38 yards through two weeks. He'll look to bounce back in Week 3 when the Texans face the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road.
