The Cincinnati Bengals have signed veteran backup quarterback Logan Woodside to a one-year deal, according to NFL.com. The 30-year-old was signed by the Bengals last offseason and spent most of the 2024 campaign on the practice squad. Woodside, a former seventh-round pick by the Bengals out of Toledo, has completed four of his seven career passing attempts for 34 yards and one interception in 12 games with the Tennessee Titans and Atlanta Falcons. At best, he'll likely stick around on the practice squad once again in 2025, but he could face an uphill battle to make the roster in any form.

Bryce Young is back after missing Week 8 due to an ankle injury, but he goes against the Green Bay Packers in his return. Green Bay is on a three-game winning streak and has not allowed more than 23 points in two of those wins. Over the past two weeks, the Packers defense registered nine sacks. This season, Young has averaged 13.9 fantasy points per game but registered fewer than that in four of his last five outings. In seven games played this season. Young has finished as a top 10 fantasy QB once. If the Panthers play from behind, Young can be a productive passer, as 876 of his 1,288 total pass yards this year were recorded while trailing. Young is best suited as a low-end QB2 for Superflex formats.
