Mark Andrews Still a Key Piece in Ravens Offense

Saturday, July 12, 1:31 PM

There was some speculation this offseason that the Baltimore Ravens might be moving on from tight end Mark Andrews after his disappointing outing in the playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round. However, Andrews is still on the roster and is in the TE mix for the Ravens alongside Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar with training camp right around the corner. All three of Andrews, Likely and Kolar are scheduled to be free agents in 2026, so they should all be highly motivated, writes The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec. Andrews should continue to have a key role in the offense, but the addition of veteran receiver DeAndre Hopkins could mean that targets will be tougher to come by in an offense that remains run-first. The 29-year-old looked done early in 2024 before scoring 11 TDs in a 12-game span. Likely is a problem for sure, but as long as Andrews stays healthy, he should be in play as a midrange TE1 in fantasy.

Tyler Warren Catches Three Passes in Preseason Debut

Friday, August 8, 9:23 AM

Indianapolis Colts tight end Tyler Warren caught all three of his targets for 40 yards in a 24-16 preseason loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday. Warren got off to a hot start in the game, catching all three of his passes in the first quarter, including a 23-yard reception down the middle of the field to help set the Colts up for a 33-yard field goal at the end of the quarter. He came as advertised after the Colts used the 14th overall pick on Warren in the 2025 NFL draft, hauling in all three of his targets and showing physicality as a runner after the catch. While the Colts' quarterback situation is a bit concerning, Warren should settle in as a solid TE2 in fantasy in his rookie year. He will now gear up to face off against the Green Bay Packers in his team's second preseason contest, which is scheduled for next Saturday.
