Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas does have a career-high five touchdowns in 2024 and resides in one of the best passing offenses in the NFL, but he's still not a viable flex play for fantasy managers looking to advance to championship matchups in Week 16. We would recommend ignoring him in starting fantasy lineups for a divisional tilt on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. In the first meeting with Cleveland on Oct. 20, Iosivas put up a donut (he did so the following week as well). The 25-year-old just isn't seeing enough volume (51 targets on the year) behind target hogs Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. When you factor in tight end Mike Gesicki, Iosivas is quarterback Joe Burrow's No. 4 target, at best. In the last five weeks, Iosivas has been outside the top-50 wideouts with 11 catches, 127 yards and one touchdown on 16 targets. There's minimal upside here and a scary-low floor.
Dec 21, 2024 12:51 PM EST
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas was anticipated to have a breakout season. While the 25-year-old has had a few quality performances, he still isn't playing at the level most had hoped. With a career-high five touchdowns, Iosivas should make another trip or two to the end zone before the end of the regular season. But he's not consistent by any means, making him a risky fantasy commodity for managers in Week 15 versus the Tennessee Titans.
Dec 14, 2024 3:40 AM EST
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas caught four of his five targets for 41 yards during Monday's Week 14 win over the Dallas Cowboys. The Bengals' offense is quite crowded right now with strong performances from Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Mike Gesicki, and Chase Brown, but we can't ignore a solid string of productivity from Iosivas. He has 10 catches, 122 yards, and one touchdown during that three-game span, ranking 60th among receivers in terms of average fantasy points per game. He should be viewed as a solid WR4 option in deeper leagues ahead of Week 15 against the Tennessee Titans.
Dec 10, 2024 2:15 AM EST
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas had three catches for 35 yards in Sunday's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also had a touchdown, bringing in a three-yard pass from Joe Burrow late in the fourth quarter. The 25-year-old hasn't found the end zone since the Monday night loss to the Commanders back in September. Since then, he only has 13 catches. With that said, Iosivas should remain stashed on dynasty rosters. On the other hand, he needs a few more productive outings before he finds himself back in fantasy lineups, so he's not an option in Week 14 against the Dallas Cowboys.
Dec 1, 2024 8:33 PM EST
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas began the season by amassing three scores in the first three weeks. As a result, some fantasy managers assumed this would be his breakout year. Unfortunately, the 25-year-old hasn't been a factor since the Bengals' Monday night loss to the Commanders in late September, catching only 10 passes in his previous eight appearances. Granted, he may have another score or two up his sleeve before the end of the 2024-25 campaign. But it will be difficult for Iosivas to get involved with Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins on the field along with the increased involvement of Jermaine Burton. Keep him out of the starting lineup for Sunday's AFC North showdown versus the Steelers.
Nov 30, 2024 12:58 PM EST
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas caught all three of his targets for a total of 46 receiving yards during Sunday's Week 11 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. The 25-year-old has taken a clear backseat behind Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins this season, but that didn't stop him from delivering modest production in this week's entertaining Sunday Night Football battle between the Bengals and Chargers. Iosivas is an appealing insurance policy in case Chase or Higgins were to miss time, but for now, he shouldn't be started in fantasy leagues. The Bengals have a Week 12 bye before returning to face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 13.
Nov 18, 2024 12:28 AM EST
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas was a more attractive deep-league flex option the last three weeks with Tee Higgins (quadriceps) sidelined, but with Higgins returning for the Sunday night game against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11, he'll lose most of his streaming appeal. It's not like Iosivas really made a ton of noise in the three games that Higgins missed anyway, as he combined for three receptions on 11 targets for 39 yards and one touchdown in Weeks 8-10. The 25-year-old was talked up in training camp this summer and already has matched a career-high with four touchdown grabs, but he's had a difficult time standing out otherwise as the No. 3 behind Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase. Iosivas is outside the top 50 at his position through 10 weeks and should be avoided on Sunday night with Higgins returning against a stout Chargers defense.
Nov 16, 2024 1:09 PM EST
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas had only one reception in the Week 9 win over the Raiders. However, it at least resulted in a trip to the end zone. With Tee Higgins (quadriceps) unlikely to suit up on Thursday night versus the Ravens, Ja'Marr Chase should continue to get extra attention from Joe Burrow. Although Iosivas could also benefit, he's hard to trust despite the favorable matchup on the horizon.
Nov 6, 2024 9:32 PM EST
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas had only one catch for 10 yards in Sunday's win over the Raiders. However, his lone catch meant a little more, considering it resulted in a trip to the end zone. Granted, with Tee Higgins (quadriceps) sidelined, fantasy managers were expecting more from Iosivas. Still, as long as Higgins stays on the shelf, including for Thursday's AFC North clash with Baltimore, Iosivas remains in the flex conversation based on his upside alone.
Nov 3, 2024 9:04 PM EST
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas was held without a catch in the Week 8 loss to the Eagles. With Tee Higgins (quadriceps) sidelined for that one, most expected Iosivas would be more involved. However, that didn't happen. With Higgins in line to miss Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders, targets will be up for grabs. Of course, Ja'Marr Chase will remain Joe Burrow's preferred option on the receiving end. Still, Iosivas has an excellent chance of getting it together on Sunday, so fantasy managers can still consider him a flex option.
Nov 2, 2024 12:34 PM EST
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas entered Sunday's game against the Eagles with high expectations after Tee Higgins (quadriceps) was ruled out. Unfortunately, the wideout couldn't make anything out of his afforded opportunity, finishing without a catch (three targets). Instead, it was Ja'Marr Chase and Mike Gesicki leading the way, with the duo combining for 16 receptions. Without question, Iosivas is more than capable of getting things done for fantasy managers. However, it just wasn't his week. With that said, Iosivas has flex potential in Week 9 against the Raiders. But if Higgins is back in the equation, Iosivas should be left on the bench.
Oct 27, 2024 5:07 PM EST
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas began the 2024-25 campaign by finding the end zone three times in the team's first three games. However, he's cooled off significantly of late, totaling only four catches in the last four contests. Without question, managers no longer consider Iosivas a starting fantasy option. It's also likely he's worked his way off of fantasy rosters altogether. But if Tee Higgins (quadriceps) isn't available for the Week 8 clash with the Philadelphia Eagles, Iosivas should enter the flex conversation. To be safe, fantasy managers should immediately grab the 25-year-old off waivers, where available.
Oct 25, 2024 9:30 PM EST
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas posted his first goose egg of the season against the Cleveland Browns. The second-year wideout finished the game with one target but didn't haul it in, and was not used in the running game. When Tee Higgins returned, Iosivas' target share dropped in each game. In fact, Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase received 14 targets combined. As long as the top receivers are healthy, Iosivas has a limited ceiling. He'll have another shot at finding the end zone against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8.
Oct 21, 2024 9:22 AM EST
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas has three touchdowns this season, one fewer than the four he had through 16 games as a rookie. While Tee Higgins made his 2024-25 debut after missing the Bengals' first two contests, Iosivas still played more snaps in the Week 4 win over the Carolina Panthers. Granted, the 24-year-old had just one reception in that one. However, Iosivas is still second on the team in red zone targets, keeping him a flex option for Week 5 versus the Baltimore Ravens. Fantasy managers should be mindful that his presence in any lineup has its risks, although the upside remains.
Oct 5, 2024 12:43 PM EST
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas found the end zone twice in Week 2 versus the Chiefs. With Tee Higgins (hamstring) returning on Monday night against the Commanders after missing the first two games of the season, most assumed Iosivas would cool off. However, that didn't happen, with the 24-year-old grabbing five of his seven targets for 52 yards and a touchdown. It's important to note Higgins saw more offensive snaps in Week 3. Yet, Iosivas appears to have the attention of quarterback Joe Burrow, making him a viable fantasy option in Week 4 versus the Carolina Panthers.
Sep 28, 2024 11:28 AM EST
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas had a stellar showing in Monday's loss to the Commanders. With Tee Higgins (hamstring) back in the lineup, most assumed Iosivas would cool off after scoring twice in the Week 2 clash with the Chiefs. However, that didn't happen, with the wideout ending the evening by amassing five receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown. It's reasonable to assume Higgins will get more involved in the Bengals' upcoming matchup with the Carolina Panthers. Still, Iosivas deserves at least a flex spot in fantasy lineups in Week 4 based on his last two performances.
Sep 23, 2024 11:39 PM EST
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas began the season by catching three passes for 26 yards in the Week 1 matchup with the Patriots. Tee Higgins (hamstring) wasn't available for that one, although Iosivas couldn't take advantage. With Higgins still sidelined in Week 2 versus the Kansas City Chiefs, the wideout had a stellar outing. He had only two catches. Yet, both resulted in a touchdown. While Higgins plans to play on Monday night versus the Commanders, his workload could be less than usual. As a result, Iosivas remains a flex option. However, his ceiling would be higher if Higgins isn't available.
Sep 21, 2024 3:46 AM EST
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas shined in the Week 2 matchup with the Chiefs. Unfortunately, the Bengals lost a close one, courtesy of a Harrison Butker field goal as time expired. Iosivas had only three catches for 26 yards in Week 1 versus the New England Patriots. Although he had only two catches for seven yards in this one, both resulted in a trip to the end zone. With that in mind, nobody can say when Tee Higgins (hamstring) will be back. But if he's not healthy enough to return for the Week 3 clash with the Commanders, Iosivas is at least a flex option in all fantasy formats.
Sep 15, 2024 10:38 PM EST
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas received plenty of hype entering Week 1 against the Patriots due to uncertainty surrounding the availability of Ja'Marr Chase (illness, hold-in) and Tee Higgins (hamstring). Chase was on the field while Higgins was ruled out, leading many to believe Iosivas would still benefit. However, that didn't happen, with the 24-year-old ending the day with three catches for 26 yards. Chase doesn't carry an injury designation ahead of the Week 2 meeting with the Kansas City Chiefs. On the other hand, Higgins will likely remain on the shelf. Unfortunately, too many questions surround the Bengals offense, including the health of Joe Burrow (wrist). As a result, Iosivas shouldn't be considered anything more than a flex option in 12-team fantasy leagues, although nobody can blame anyone for keeping him out of the starting lineup.
Sep 14, 2024 4:24 AM EST
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas had three catches for 26 yards in Sunday's loss to New England. With Tee Higgins (hamstring) out, and Ja'Marr Chase (illness, hold-in) cleared to suit up at the last minute, Iosivas couldn't take advantage. In all fairness, it wasn't a good day for the entire team, so the wideout can't take all the blame for the underwhelming performance. At any rate, Higgins and Chase aren't a lock to be available in Week 2 versus the Kansas City Chiefs. If they don't play, Iosivas remains in the flex conversation, even if his fantasy ceiling isn't as high as it was entering the opener.
