MarShawn Lloyd News

MarShawn Lloyd Leads Green Bay Running Back Room

Sunday, September 13, 4:20 PM

Green Bay Packers running back MarShawn Lloyd got the chance to be the lead back during Sunday's season opener against the Minnesota Vikings. Lloyd was trusted with carrying the load in the backfield on Sunday. He rushed 13 times for 37 yards in what ended up being a loss for the Packers. It wasn't an overall successful day for Lloyd, who only averaged 2.8 yards per carry. However, he saw the most carries out of everyone in the Packers' backfield. Chris Brooks rushed the ball seven times for 29 yards, so we'll see if he gets a bigger role next week. The Packers are going to be without Josh Jacobs for the foreseeable future, so fantasy managers should continue to believe in Lloyd. We'll see if he produces better results against the New York Jets in Week 2.

Tre Tucker News

Tre Tucker to Lead Raiders' Aerial Assault in Week 1

Friday, September 11, 4:32 PM

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker is expected to see the most targets for the Silver and Black against the visiting Miami Dolphins in Week 1. The fourth-year wideout was a top target in the receiving corps last season, but stands to inherit an even heavier workload with star tight end Brock Bowers (knee) sidelined for Sunday's home opener. Tucker had 57 catches for a team-leading 696 yards and five touchdowns last season. He also showed chemistry with new starting QB Kirk Cousins during the preseason, catching five passes for over 50 yards on three drives together. Even with star running back Ashton Jeanty's ability to catch short passes, Klint Kubiak will lean on Tucker to man the air game in Bowers' absence. Tucker is a high-upside flex option against a weak Dolphins defense to kick off the 2026 campaign.
