Las Vegas Raiders tight end Michael Mayer has recorded 31 receptions for 298 yards and a touchdown through seven games. Mayer surpassed 80 receiving yards against Kansas City in Week 4 and Buffalo in Week 6 before cooling off with three catches for 32 yards against the Rams on Sunday. He played 82% of the offensive snaps in Week 7, as Las Vegas continues using both Mayer and Brock Bowers in multiple-tight-end formations. Mayer has enough opportunity to warrant a roster spot even with Bowers healthy, but his inconsistent targets make him a risky Week 8 starter against the Jets.

Tennessee Titans tight end Gunnar Helm remains a questionable option for fantasy managers and should stay on the bench in Week 7. Helm wasn't targeted in Week 6 and has failed to record a reception in his last two games. He has just one reception in his last three games and has recorded more than two receptions in just one game this season, a Week 1 win over the New York Jets. Along with his limited usage, he is averaging a slim 6.7 yards per reception and has yet to find the end zone in 2026. In Week 7, the Titans take on the Cleveland Browns, who allowed Baltimore Ravens tight end Josh Cuevas to haul in four receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown last week.
