With Joe Burrow (toe) sidelined for at least the next three months, Jake Browning was the only healthy quarterback on the active roster. While some speculated Cincinnati might pursue names like Jameis Winston or even Kirk Cousins, the move signals confidence in Browning as the starter, with White brought in strictly as depth. Indianapolis Colts quarterback Riley Leonard completed 15 of his 20 passes for 189 yards and a touchdown and added a 14-yard rush in a 41-14 preseason win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday. Leonard got the start and looked sharp in the contest, finding Laquon Treadwell for a 59-yard touchdown in the second quarter. The Colts used a sixth-round pick on the former Notre Dame QB in this past NFL draft and he appears likely to open the year as the team's third quarterback behind Daniel Jones and Anthony Richardson Sr. The Colts will now begin preparing for Week 1 and the Miami Dolphins.
