Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams, who was recently placed on the training-camp PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) list, is retiring from the NFL after eight seasons. The 30-year-old entered the NFL as the No. 7 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Chargers following a stellar career at Clemson. He spent the first seven seasons of his pro career with L.A. before playing for the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024. Overall, Williams tallied 330 receptions for 5,104 yards and 32 touchdowns. He hangs up his cleats with two 1,000-yard seasons on his resume. Known as a big-play threat, his impact diminished later in his career as he aged and dealt with injury. While he was unlikely to be a significant factor for the Chargers this year, his departure gives Quentin Johnston more breathing room after a slow start to his NFL career.

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore caught six of seven targets for 64 yards and a touchdown during Saturday's Wild Card win over the Green Bay Packers. He also lost five yards rushing. The highlight of Moore's game was a 25-yard touchdown catch with just 1:48 left in the fourth quarter. The score put Chicago ahead 31-27, and that score would hold for the final 108 seconds as the Bears completed an improbable comeback and punched their ticket to the Divisional Round. Moore was relatively underwhelming as just the WR35 in full-PPR leagues this year, but there's no denying that he has a flair for the dramatic. He has scored game-winning touchdowns in each of the Bears' last two games against the Packers, and he has scored at least 17.9 full-PPR fantasy points in three of his last five games. The 28-year-old will look to stay hot as the Bears advance to face the Rams in the Divisional Round next weekend.
