Mike Williams A Flex Option In Week 5

Friday, October 4, 5:11 PM

New York Jets wide receiver Mike Williams has slowly ramped up his production in each game this season and turned in his best effort last week, finishing with four catches for 67 yards in a 10-9 loss to the Denver Broncos. Williams will look to continue his upward ascent in Week 5's London game against the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings have struggled to contain opposing receivers this season, allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to the position through four weeks. Williams should continue to earn a larger role in the offense as he gets further and further removed from a torn ACL that ended his 2023 season early. Williams is on the fantasy radar as a flex option heading into a prime matchup against the Vikings. Fantasy managers relying on Jets and Vikings players will want to set their lineups early as the London game kicks off at 9:30 AM EST on Sunday.

Keon Coleman Could Become De-Facto WR1 Against Houston

Friday, October 4, 10:17 AM

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman could be called upon more often against the Houston Texans on Sunday. Top wide receiver Khalil Shakir (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday and Thursday and is at risk of missing the game. If he does, Coleman and Dalton Kincaid should see a target bump. Still, it would be risky for fantasy football managers to trust the rookie in starting lineups. He'll see a lot of cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. on the outside and hasn't garnered enough target volume to be relied upon. Coleman is in the WR5 range against the Texans.
