After a disappointing 2024 campaign in Carolina, where he lost the starting job to Chuba Hubbard, Sanders is looking for a fresh start in Dallas. In Cowboys camp, Sanders has been splitting first-team reps with Javonte Williams, though Williams is expected to open the season as the starter. With Sanders expected to be the team's RB2, it makes it very difficult to trust starting him in fantasy lineups this week. New Orleans Saints running back Kendre Miller saw limited action in Week 1 but made the most of it, rushing five times for 24 yards. The Saints ran the ball just 22 times while Spencer Rattler threw 46 passes, and Miller was on the field for only 11 offensive snaps. Rookie Devin Neal, who played seven snaps and carried the ball twice, could further limit Miller's role. While he showed flashes of explosiveness against the Cardinals, the Saints' likely pass-heavy approach means Miller can remain on waivers until his usage increases.
